| My initial research into the art deco movement slowly mixed in with the idea of childs toys, dressing up in oversized pieces how that could tie in with childs uniform and tradition 19th c childrens clothes. Childrens toys also cam in to the reasearch looking at kalidascopes and the geometrical shapes mixed in with oversizing. |
the idea of childrens uniforms, the dressing up of children in oversized clothes took a main aspect of the collection
The colour inspiration came from a van gough painting of the sky pictured above. the hued purples and pale pinks mixed with blues and greys, really caught my attention.
